The crown chakra has little physical energy and little contact with the earth. The crown chakra governs the energies to the pituitary gland and the hair. Most people have little relation to this energy and how they could use its potential. But people who have learnt how to train and use their intuition, will discover the fantastic potential of the crown chakra and its violet energy. Through the crown chakra we may obtain a connection with everything that is divine; with dead or living souls; and with spiritual helpers, of human or non-human origin, that we actually have and who are around us to help us. With the violet energy we have the possibilities and gifts that reach far beyond the physical planes. We may experience our existence as an integrated part of the spiritual universe. From this energy is created the inspiration that makes authors, healers, and all other people who express and bring through the divine power. The violet ray is the energy over all the other energies, and has the most intense electrochemical power. Violet has a sour flavour. The extreme blue violet energy is very stimulating to the nervous system. It has a cleansing power and inspires the spiritual nature. It stimulates the highest human ideals in art, music, poetry, and all others kinds of art. The famous artist and scientist of colour, Leonardo da Vinci, said that our power will increase tenfold if we meditated under the violet stained glass windows in the cathedral. When light shines through violet coloured glass, it provides us with the highest energies. However, since violet has the highest vibrational speed of all colours, not everybody can utilize this colour. Many people avoid this colour and say they do not like it. This is probably because this energy cleanses the thoughts and emotions. All who are not of a creative nature would feel frustrated or even feel ill at ease in violet surroundings and light. But if we are in balance and are connected to the violet energy, the whole world is actually open to us.
